Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport, we will receive you and take you to your hotel. Rest of the day you will have free for yourself. Accommodation in Lisbon.
We start by exploring the wines around Lisbon. Close to the Tagus estuary, Bucelas is a small wine region, with vineyards planted mainly in clay soils. We will visit a winery in the region, which produces white wine, red wine, and which is part of the Wine Route. We will later end with a wine tasting. Return and accommodation in Lisbon.
We start our journey discovering the landscape of the Alentejo, towards the city of Évora. This sunny, hot, and dry region allows the grapes to mature, planted on the mountain slopes. We visit one of the most renowned Wine Estates in the region, with wine tasting. After lunch, we continue to another wine region: the Setúbal Peninsula. We will visit a winery in the region, with tasting at the end. Accommodation in Lisbon.
Today we continue to the Bairrada region, home to fine wines made from high quality grape varieties. Here we will visit another Wine Estate, with more than 75 years of history, to learn more about the wines that are produced there. After lunch, we will go to the Dão region and visit another winery, founded in 1942 and one of the oldest wineries in this region. Accommodation in the Douro.
During this day, we will explore the Douro Demarcated Region, one of the oldest wine regions in the world. The first stop will be Régua, located in the heart of the Douro Wine Region. Enjoy an incredible landscape of steep slopes, covered with vineyards. We continue to Pinhão, to visit two wineries producing wine, with wine tasting at the end. We then continue to Porto. Today will be to get to know the city of Porto, which is linked to the history of the famous Port wine. We will visit a famous Port Wine Cellar, in Vila Nova de Gaia, with wine tasting at the end. We will also have the opportunity to admire the most emblematic sites and monuments of the city, such as the Cathedral, the São Francisco Church, the Lello Bookshop, the Clérigos Tower, the São Bento Train Station, the Ribeira Square, among others. Accommodation in Porto.
On this last day, we will visit the wine region of Minho. Marked by the green of the vineyards and agricultural land, it is known as the "Greenest Region" in Portugal. Here, the soft or sparkling “vinho verde” stands out. We will visit two famous wineries in this region, having the opportunity to taste their different wines at the end of the visit.
