Itinerary

Day 1

VISTA DO REI | LAGOA DAS SETE CIDADES | CHURCH ST. NICHOLAS | LAGOA DE SANTIAGO

Departure from Ponta Delgada in direction to Vista do Rei viewpoint. On the way, we can see smaller lakes, such as Empadadas Lake and the Canary Islands, before reaching the viewpoint where you will find the magnificent Lagoa das Sete Cidades. After walking the unpaved path that encircles the top of the volcanic structure, we will go down into the town of Sete Cidades and make a little stop next to the Church of St. Nicholas. On the way to Ponta Delgada, we still get the opportunity to see the Lagoa de Santiago.
