Itinerary
We start the day with a quick stop in Vila Franca do Campo. The tour continues to the Furnas valley, where you will find the oldest caldera on the island, a lagoon, and fumaroles. Picnic lunch. We´ll pass by the viewpoints of the northeast of the island, known for their careful and colorful gardens, which offer a magnificent view where the cliff falls in a peak towards the sea. The tour continues to the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, where the waterfalls and water mills appear surrounded by lush and diverse vegetation. Back in Ponta Delgada, the last stop is at the Tea Plantations.
